Training your Goldendoodle is an incredibly important part of raising a happy, confident, and well-rounded companion. The foundation you build during the early puppy stages helps shape your dog’s behaviour for years to come.
Without proper guidance and consistency, puppies can develop unwanted habits that become much harder to correct as they get older. We understand that many families are busy and may not have the time needed to dedicate to the early stages of puppy training — that’s where our training program can help.
Our trainers work closely with each puppy to build confidence, structure, and a positive relationship through a clear marker system paired with treats and kibble rewards.
A very important part of our program is teaching puppies how to have an “off switch” learning how to relax and settle even when things are happening around them. This helps create a puppy that can be calm and well-mannered both inside the home and out in public.
Trupanion Insurance Requirement
All Elm Tree Doodles families receive access to a complimentary 30 day Trupanion trial insurance policy for their new puppy.
To ensure your puppy has coverage in place, your Trupanion policy must be activated 24 hours before your puppy leaves Elm Tree Doodles and goes home with you, or any pet insurance of your choice.
For puppies staying with us for additional training or boarding, Trupanion insurance must also be activated 24 hours before the start of any training or boarding period with us.
This helps ensure your puppy has protection in place during their transition and while they are in our care.
Elm Tree Doodles strongly recommends families continue pet insurance beyond the trial period for ongoing peace of mind.
Puppies completing our 4 week training program are $8,250 plus training essentials.
For Elm Tree Doodles families needing additional care:
• Daily Boarding: $90/day plus HST
• Daily Board & Train: $140/day plus HST
(Our 4 week program is offered at a discounted package rate.)

All Elm Tree Doodles puppies are sold on a non-breeding contract.
Elm Tree Doodles reserves the right to cancel or refuse the sale of a puppy at any time and return a deposit if we feel the placement is not in the best interest of the puppy.

Once your application has been accepted, we request a non-refundable $500 consultation fee, which can be emailed to info@elmtreedoodles.com
Puppies are matched in the order that consultation fee’s are received. Should your circumstances change or if a suitable puppy does not become available, the consultation fee is transferable to a different litter within a 12 month time line from the day you place your consultation fee, but is not refundable. If your selected litter does not result in a successful pregnancy, you'll be rolled over to the next available litter. If I don't have an available puppy for you within the 12 month timeline of your selected litter, then I will return your consultation fee.
Puppies are matched in the order that deposits are place, puppy selection is completed on puppy pick up day, this is when puppies are 8 weeks of age.. Unfortunately I can't guarantee gender, this is up to Mother Nature, so you must be open to either gender. We also cannot guarantee exact colour or coat or weight. If you're looking for a particular gender or colour or coat, we can move you to a litter with more availability.
Elm Tree reserves the right to use a different stud than originally planned. If a different stud is used we will make every effort to ensure that the same size are expected in the litter.
Elm Tree also reserves the right to keep puppies back for our breeding program. Not all puppies in each litter are available for pets. Here at Elm Tree Doodles we also give returning families or families requesting 4 weeks training top choice of their selected litter, if available.
Please be aware that upcoming litters depend on Mother Nature and she often has a mind of her own! As a result, the timing of a heat cycle of expected litters does not always work out exactly as planned, note that not all females conceive when we bred.
Once your litter has been born, you'll receive an e-mail with details about the litter and puppy pick up dates to mark on your calendar. Once you conceived confirmation that your reserved litter has been born you'll have 48 hours to decide if you will be staying on the current litter list.
After 48 hours your consultation fee is no longer transferable.
Our puppy photos are updated on our website when puppies reach 5 and 7 weeks of age, if the litter is fully reserved, we will be removing from the website and will email you directly.
We understand that our puppies are a significant investment. However, there are substantial costs associated with raising a litter of high quality Doodles from fully health tested parents. The value of this health testing is passed on to the adopting family because there is a much lower risk of health issues in the offspring. We strive to produce puppies that will live a long, happy and healthy life with their owners.
